Cycle for Survival - Greenwich

Come ride with Cycle for Survival - founded by HBS alumni, Cycle is the amazingly fun indoor team cycling event that raises awareness and funds for rare cancer research

Cycle for Survival, founded by Jennifer (HBS ’99) and David (HBS ’00) Linn, is the amazingly fun indoor team cycling event that provides a tangible way to beat serious, rare cancers.   Jen lost the battle in 2011 (read her obituary from the HBS Alumni Bulletin), but Cycle lives on and has turned into a full-fledged charity and has been the subject of an HBS case.

Cycle for Survival has raised over $17.8M for rare cancer research and funded 53 clinical trials and research studies.  100% of the funds go directly to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and are allocated within six months of each event.

This year Cycle for Survival is expanding to Greenwich Equinox.  The event will be one big high-energy “spin-class”, more of a party than a workout atmosphere.   As part of the 50 Years of Women at HBS Celebration, the HBS Club of Connecticut Team will have multiple bikes, so invite other members and your friends and family to come join the fun (non club members are encouraged to participate)!

No riding experience necessary, no spandex needed, and no Equinox membership required!

What:  Indoor Cycle-a-thon
When:  March 3, 2013
Time:  8am-noon (30 minute or 60 minute riding shifts)
Where:  Greenwich Equinox, 16 Old Track Road, Greenwich
