ABOUT COMMUNITY PARTNERS (CP)
Community Partners enables HBS alumni to participate in volunteer efforts to promote excellence in nonprofit leadership in Connecticut through pro bono consulting, education, grant awards and related initiatives.
A nineteen person board manages CP. Over 200 alumni have participated over the past five years in over 40 projects. Project teams have worked with: anti-poverty agencies; groups helping ex-convicts establish productive lives; camps for seriously ill children that allow them to “be kids again”; emergency service groups that provide food, clothing and other help to people in need; arts, nature and historical organizations, and many others.
The opportunities range from one day planning sessions, to workshops, to team projects for strategic direction, financial analysis and planning, marketing, and management improvement. For everyone involved CP work has been fun and very productive.
Register for this meeting by emailing us at at neimanr@aol.com or vlbarnes@ix.netcom.com
