Dear Fellow Connecticut HBS Alumni,
On behalf of the Officers and Directors
of the HBS Club of Connecticut, I welcome you to the vibrant community of ~2,500
Harvard Business School alumni who live and/or
work in Connecticut. All HBS alumni in the “Nutmeg State" are automatically members
of our club, so congratulations on being a member!
Your club does NOT charge any membership dues as all Club programs and events are
either self-funded and/or sponsor supported. Please take a moment to become a “registered
member” of the club so that you will be sure to be notified of, and eligible to
participate in, all of the Club’s events and programs, plus enjoy the myriad of
other benefits of being a registered member. For those of you who have not yet participated
in HBS Club events or programs here in CT I hope that you will become involved (and
I hope the rest of you will continue to stay involved) with the HBS Club of
The roster of Club-sponsored events and
programs has increased significantly under the leadership of my predecessors
and your Club will continue to expand its offerings of business, education,
social, career networking and community involvement programs. We are here to serve
you and to represent HBS in our communities.
The Club’s very successful HBS Community
Partners of Connecticut program represents the local implementation and
continuation of a long-standing national program run by Harvard Business School
alumni for the betterment of their local communities. We are extremely fortunate
to have a large, seasoned group of alumni from diverse professional backgrounds
living and working in CT who are committed to volunteerism and public service.
Please make sure to keep your
contact information up to date with us and HBS so that we can keep you informed
of upcoming Club events and programs. You can do this by visiting our home page
and signing in to update information. Also,
please tell your HBS friends, section-mates, associates, etc. here in CT about
the Club and ask them to update their contact information with us too.
Your club has a very active and
dedicated team of Directors and Club Officers which welcomes new members and
volunteers! If you are interested in getting more involved with the club,
whether by suggesting or organizing an event, leading a special interest group,
offering feedback, or helping in another way, please contact me.
All the best,
Roger Cole (MBA 1985)
