2009 Spring Benefit
The Board of Directors of the Harvard Business School Club of Connecticut Community Partners cordially invites you to attend our annual Spring Benefit on Thursday, April 23rd at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich. Please join fellow alumni as we recognize leaders of our nonprofit community and celebrate the many accomplishments of our volunteer consultants.
Robert and Leah Rukeyser are this year’s guests of honor. Mr. Rukeyser serves as Vice Chairman of Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. He has been an active member of the charity’s board for 22 years, during which time he has chaired the finance, compensation, human resources and Team Hole in the Wall committees. Mrs. Rukeyser boasts 28 years of service in education. She worked as an elementary school principal and developed an award-winning magnet school in New York. Her skills as an educator brought her to the Bruce Museum where she was Chairman of the Board. She successfully reshaped the Museum and continues today as Chairman of the Development Committee. All proceeds benefit the Community Partners Scholarship Fund that enables an outstanding local nonprofit executive to attend the Harvard Business School summer program, Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management. The winner of the 2009 Scholarship will be announced during the evening.
